Donations are always welcome at Rabbit Haven as we are a nonprofit organization.  Our shelter exists and is able to do all the wonderful things we are able to for these unwanted and mistreated rabbits because of the generosity of people like you.

How does Rabbit Haven pay for everything?

We've gone through a lot of changes 2003, including a move.  We are in the process of building the new bunny building and have plans for many other projects that will benefit the animals that are at or will come to Rabbit Haven.  Funding for Rabbit Haven is provided through Sue, adoption fees, service fees and personal donations.  Sue spends a lot of time searching out the best deals around in order to keep costs as low as possible therefore enabling her to reach out and aide even more animals.  Garage sales, yard sales, estate sales and going out of business sales are often searched by Sue and her volunteers for any bunny treasures that could be of use!  Rabbit Haven could not succeed without the support of Sue and all the others who have contributed, continue to contribute or will contribute in the future.  Our sincerest gratitude to each and everyone of you!

How can you help?

There are many needs here at Rabbit Haven.  Financial support is always needed and welcomed.  Any donations made to Rabbit Haven are tax-deductible as we do hold a not-for-profit tax status.  We are also in need of materials and/or labor for the new bunny barn construction.  We have needs for bunny medical and housing supplies.  Below is a list of category specific links for detailed lists and more information.

Combined Federal Campaigns

Rabbit Haven has received approval to participate in the Combined Federal Campaigns (CFC) of King County and North Puget Sound.  We will be include in their brochure listing for 2005.  If your employer participates in the program, you can now make monetary contributions to Rabbit Haven by specifying us.

Matching Funds

Please check with your employer before donating to see if they participate in matching funds donations.  If they do, please pick up a matching funds donation form and send it along with your contribution to Rabbit Haven.  We will complete the form and submit it back to your employer for the matching funds.
