The Pogo & Tess Medical Fund was brought into conception when two Rabbit Haven residents required extraordinary medical care.  The funds used to first establish the Pogo & Tess Medical Fund were raised and donated by local children.  To read the full story CLICK HERE

The Pogo & Tess Medical Fund is now set aside for other Rabbit Haven residents requiring extraordinary medical expenses.  We will post these residents conditions, needs and their progress for you to follow along.  If you would like to make a tax deductible donation to help any of these buns specifically or make a contribution in general to the Pogo & Tess Medical Fund please click on the JustGive.Org logo to the right or click HERE to print out a form and mail in your generous gift.

We thank each and everyone one of you who have made and will help us make a difference in each of these bun's lives.  We couldn't do what we do without your help; you're contributions are greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Buns With Extraordinary Medical Needs

Teresa came to Rabbit Haven with two litters in tow.  Seven of her youngsters (4 boys/3 girls) were 12-13 weeks old and her eight other ones (1 boy/7 girls) were 5 weeks old.  On top of this, she gave birth to nine more little ones the next day bringing the total to 24 babies!  Even with three consecutive litters she continues to be an outstanding mommy.

The babies are now close to 9 weeks old and just as precious as can be.  Soon they will be sexed and separated.  They and mom are currently in foster care and doing great.  They love to climb into their foster mom's lap for a snuggle and some love scratches.  Soon Teresa will be scheduled for her spay and raising children will be behind her.  She can then look forward to getting some much welcomed R & R and hopefully a loving, forever home where she will get to be the baby!

The extraordinary medical need is for the veterinary costs come from the 27+ spays and neuters that we are looking at in the next three months.  If you are wanting to help with these costs, please CLICK HERE and make a notion of "altering" in the comments section to specify your contribution for this.

We have several pictures of the babies and thought you might enjoy meeting them all.  There are too many to post on this page so we have created a BABY GALLERY just specifically for them.
